Position Summary:
Destination Dayton is the destination marketing organization for Dayton/Montgomery County, Ohio. Its mission is to collaboratively lead and advocate for the development of the region’s visitor economy, which contributes to a thriving community, a diverse tax base and lifestyle amenities for everyone to enjoy.
Destination Dayton is seeking a dynamic, collaborative team leader to serve as its executive vice president.
This ideal candidate for this position will:
- Be responsible for supporting the President & CEO in new initiatives and providing board support for implementation of the strategic plan.
- Identify, in conjunction with the President & CEO, business opportunities, new tools or updated methods to improve operations and will oversee assigned daily business operations.
- Possess the ability to understand and demonstrate excellent project management skills and oversee project management for all departments is essential.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dayton, Ohio with one-to-two remote work days per week. The selected individual must be willing and able to travel.
College undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a leadership position required. Destination marketing/hospitality industry experience preferred.
