COVID-19 Update: 18,942 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 18,942 new cases of COVID-19 and 350 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

Last week, Governor Mike DeWine said COVID-19 hospitalizations are at their highest levels of the pandemic.

ODH also reported 2,072,663 confirmed cases, 29,447 deaths and 96,976 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,765,838 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,004,764 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents nearly 60 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
