COVID-19 Update: 20,411 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 20,411 new cases of COVID-19 and 708 new hospitalizations. The agency also reported 227 additional deaths.

Last week, Governor Mike DeWine said COVID-19 hospitalizations are at their highest levels of the pandemic.

ODH also reported 2,093,074 confirmed cases, 29,674 deaths and 97,684 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,781,756 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,012,836 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents nearly 60 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
