COVID-19 Update: 8,609 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 8,609 new COVID-19 cases and 232 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 2,571,021 confirmed cases, 33,071 deaths and 107,151 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,221,388 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,162,872 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents 61 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
