COVID-19 Update: 5,224 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 5,224 new COVID-19 cases and 68 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 2,576,245 confirmed cases, 33,071 deaths and 107,219 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,235,108 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,165,207 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents 61 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
