COVID-19 Update: 2,594 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 2,594 new COVID-19 cases and 179 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 2,612,719 confirmed cases, 34,217 deaths and 109,181 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,396,378 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,181,072 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents 61 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
