COVID-19 Update: 1,999 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 1,999 new COVID-19 cases and 166 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

The ODH also reported 2,640,201 confirmed cases, 35,372 deaths and 111,252 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,529,371 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,206,160 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure remains at 61 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
