COVID-19 Update: 1,171 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 1,071 new COVID-19 cases and 111 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,656,152 confirmed cases, 36,822 deaths and 112,591 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,587,709 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,228,274 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure remains at 61.8 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.4 percent.
