COVID-19 Update: 499 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 499 new COVID-19 cases and 43 new hospitalizations.

The agency did not report any additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,663,518 confirmed cases, 37,410 deaths and 113,161 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,606,849 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,259,678 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure represents 62.1 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.6 percent.
