BWC Announces Eight Percent Rate Reduction for Private Employers
This will result in nearly $90 million savings in the next fiscal year
Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Administrator John Logue announced at the Feb. board meeting that Ohio’s private employers will pay nearly $90 million less in workers’ compensation premiums in the next fiscal year due to an 8 percent rate reduction approved by the Ohio BWC Board of Directors.
