Register Today for Upcoming GRAPAC Webinars

They will help GR professionals generate revenue, manage state lobbyists

The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Government Relations and Advocacy Professionals Advisory Council (GRAPAC) has scheduled two upcoming webinars to help association government relations professionals generate revenue and manage state lobbyists.

The first webinar, titled “How to Generate Revenue for Advocacy Efforts,” will take place May 17 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. ET. Speakers include John Nothdurft, director of government affairs for ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and Michelle Ly, director of advocacy programs for NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association, who will share their expertise on how trade associations can effectively generate revenue to support their advocacy work. A second webinar, titled “How to Contract with and Manage State Lobbyists,” will be held on May 30 from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. ET. Learn from a veteran panel of experts on how to identify, hire and manage the professional lobbying presence that works best for your association. Panelists include: Lorrie Trogden, CAE, president and CEO, Arkansas Bankers Association, and Jim Leahy, CAE, managing director, regional & federal programs, Liberty Square Group.
