Ohio BWC MCO Reminds Employers Open Enrollment Deadline Approaching

Open enrollment ends at 5:30 p.m. May 26.

Employers: The period to switch your managed care organization (MCO) to manage the medical portion of your workers’ compensation claims is almost over. The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) 2023 MCO open enrollment ends at 5:30 p.m. May 26.

To help you select an MCO that meets the needs of your business and workers, updated versions of BWC’s MCO Selection Guide and MCO Report Card are available at bwc.ohio.gov. The guide walks you through the selection process, while the report card provides up-to-date MCO performance information.

If you’re satisfied with your MCO, you don’t need to do anything.
