Financial sustainability doesn’t come from cutting costs—it comes from expanding opportunity. The strongest organizations don’t rely solely on dues, donations, or events. They create dynamic, diversified revenue portfolios that evolve with their mission and market.

This session dives into the principles and practices behind alternative revenue modeling. You’ll explore real-world examples of associations and nonprofits that have generated significant revenue through inventive programming, partnerships, licensing, and other underutilized avenues. We’ll unpack how to spot new revenue potential within your existing assets, pilot test ideas with minimal risk, and shift from reactive fundraising to proactive business planning. Whether you’re looking to stabilize your budget or fuel ambitious growth, this session will give you practical tools to reimagine your bottom line.

Participants will:

  • Identify viable alternative revenue streams suited to your organizations's strengths.
  • Assess existing programs for untapped revenue potential.
