Target CEO Sells Shoppers to ‘Get On Board’ with ‘Unique Model’
The retailer is looking to open 300 more stores
Target CEO Brian Cornell has insisted artificial intelligence will create more jobs rather than replace workers, arguing people must "get on board" with technological advancements.
The retail executive told a major consumer conference in New York City that technology updates were improving the industry and that "tens of thousands" of new roles had been created despite shifting technology.
Cornell led a panel at the National Retail Federation's (NFIB) Big Show on leadership and culture featuring Target Group Vice President Abubakarr Bangura and Great Place to Work CEO Michael Bush.
