State Sees $319 Million in Recreational Marijuana Sales in First Six Months

In Ohio, the average cost of marijuana per ounce is $192

The state of Ohio has made over $319 million since recreational marijuana sales began six months ago. That number doesn't even include the billions made in medical sales. 

Governor Mike DeWine said he wants customers paying even more at checkouts.

The cost of weed in Ohio is already pricey for consumers compared to other states like Michigan and some dispensaries fear if the price keeps going up, the recreational market might collapse.
