Congressman Mike Turner (OH-10), who leads the U.S. delegation to the NATO PA, played a pivotal role in bringing the Spring Session to Dayton—the first time the United States has hosted a NATO PA Spring Session. The event also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords, reinforcing Dayton’s legacy as a center for international dialogue and diplomacy.

“Dayton is the perfect place to host the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, not only because of its historical significance but also because of its warm hospitality and vibrant community,” said Turner. “We are excited to welcome parliamentarians from across NATO, showcase our city, and demonstrate why Dayton is an ideal setting for critical global discussions.”

The NATO PA serves as a vital link between NATO and the legislatures of its 32 member nations, fostering dialogue on security and defense issues.

Destination Dayton is proud to play a key role in ensuring that every delegate and visitor experiences the very best of what Dayton, Montgomery County, and the United States have to offer.
