Association professionals group converges on Toledo

The Glass City Center was filled this week with ideas, discussions covering subjects that ranged from artificial intelligence to navigating perfectionism.

The Ohio Society of Association Professionals’ annual conference returned to Toledo for the first time since 2019. The event comes as a collaborative effort among Destination Toledo, Lucas County and the greater Toledo’s destination marketing organization, and the Ohio Society of Association Professionals, a nonprofit that provides resources ranging from educational to networking opportunities to members.

OSAP membership includes professionals from associations, conventions and visitors bureaus, and businesses supplying associations with products or services. Jarrod Clabaugh, OSAP president and CEO, described “association professionals” as encompassing OSAP members working for an organization with any 501(c) designation.
