Set the Path

Here are four year-end conversations to have with your team this month

Labor Day is over, and you know what that means – the race to the end of the year is officially underway. And, in the absence of intervention, whatever patterns you and your team have exhibited so far this year – whether good or bad – are going to be magnified during the late Q3-Q4 sprint.

Just a bit of intentional leadership clarity here and there can prevent the team drift that burns energy, causes rework, and blows promises. Instead of viewing the next 3 or 4 months as a sprint to the finish line, what if you viewed the next couple of weeks as a clarity sprint to set and keep everyone on a productive path between now and Dec. 31?
