Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 19,54 new COVID-19 cases and 506 new hospitalizations for the week.
The agency also reported 38 additional deaths from COVID.
The ODH also reported 2,763,123 confirmed cases, 38,828 deaths and 116,908 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 7,333,521 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure represents 62.74 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide, which are approximately 82.7 percent of the populace.
On March 14, 2022, the ODH announced it will only report COVID-19 data weekly rather than daily. This is in response to a significant decrease in cases and hospitalizations statewide. It will only be reported on Thursday; thus, OSAP will only report it on Thursdays, too.
