More than 1,250 association professionals, industry partners and other stakeholders attended ASAE’s new 2024 Marketing, Membership, Communications + Tech Conference May 30-31, 2024, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
ASAE’s MMC+Tech Conference 2024 provided expert-led, actionable learning that association professionals could apply to their marketing, membership and communications strategies, plus an added focus on the indispensable role of technology in association management. The final attendance breakdown included 861 association professionals, 235 exhibitors and 180 speakers and others.
“MMC+Tech 2024 was about giving marcomm, membership and tech professionals targeted tools and practical solutions to take their organizations to new heights,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “We want to thank our attendees, partners, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers for making this newly configured offering so successful and productive for everyone involved.”
ASAE’s MMC+Tech keynote speakers included William Arruda, a leading authority on using the power of branding and social media to succeed in business; and Crystal Washington, CSP, a technology strategist and certified futurist who helps companies like Google, Microsoft and GE leverage technology to increase profits and productivity.
During this year’s MMC+Tech Conference, ASAE also celebrated the 2024 Gold Circle Award winners, which recognize the creativity, execution and success of outstanding marketing, membership and communications campaigns. On May 31, ASAE announced the 2024 Overall Excellence Award Winner from 126 Gold Circle applications: Society of Women Engineers for their program: “Increasing Global Diversity via a Record-Breaking STEM Event.” ASAE’s Gold Circle Awards are sponsored by ASAE Business Solutions.
