The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has begun cleanup at an illegal dumping site in Goshen Township this week, starting the process of removing approximately three aces of illegally dumped construction and demolition debris.
The property is owned by Donald Combs, 53, who is serving a four-year prison sentence on eight felonies, including illegal dumping of solid waste and illegal operation of a solid waste facility without a license.
After years of litigation, the Ohio EPA, Goshen Township and the Clermont County prosecutor's office, as well as numerous health department officials and commissioners, are working together to clean up the site.
