Geneva High School Principal Michael King tends to be humble. After receiving the Ohio High School Principal of the Year Award recently, he praised others at the school rather than giving himself a pat on the back.
"I am truly honored," King said. "The award should be for the entire building: the students, the staff and community. I think it is a testament to how truly special Geneva High School is!"
In an Aug. 19 news release, the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) said it was proud to announce that King was the recipient of the prestigious Ohio High School Principal of the Year Award "for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to student success."
